What is Fitness Quotient!

Fitness is crucial for a human body. You simply cannot enjoy life if you are not healthy and this is why fitness is important for all of us. Scientists have been looking for ways to find out somehow that who will be a better athlete in the future, and they have finally achieved the goal with Fitness Quotient.

What is a fitness quotient?

A fitness quotient is a test of all your physical abilities to find out how well you are physical. It includes a test of 10 physical abilities and whoever performs well in all of them enjoys the title of being the fittest athlete of a group of individuals taking that test. The fitness quotient defines how well a person can perform physically in the future. A human body cannot be termed physically fit by studying just one physical aspect. This is why the fitness quotient involves the study of the following ten physical attributes:

  • • Strength
  • • Explosiveness
  • • Speed
  • • Agility
  • • Coordination
  • • Balance
  • • Flexibility
  • • Endurance
  • • Recovery
  • • Mental

This fitness quotient test is quite common and is being employed in several countries besides India

Foods That Will Tweak Your Fitness Quotient

Here are some foods items that can help you increase your fitness quotient and become healthier.

  • • Cherries are a great remedy to prevent diseases like gout, keeping your joints strong.
  • • Oatmeal and brown rice have been reported to be anti-inflammatory as compared to white flour. They can also strengthen your joints.
  • • Walnuts are enriched with omega-3 fatty acids that can keep your joints strong and give you a better fitness quotient score.

Benefits of Fitness Quotient

This test can show which individual is likely to perform better in sports so that they can exert their energy at being a professional in the future. The test is usually taken with students so that the nation can invest in physically better individuals who have a better chance at succeeding in sports.

I, personally believe that most of the Sports Academies in India, being started or run by Star Cricketers or Celebrities should think of incorporating the Fitness Quotient Test. This will for sure enhance India’s chances at winning sizeable number of medals at International events in future.
